The Many Faces of the Richie Boy

Happy Birthday to Our boy!

Happy Birthday Richie!!!  He is 3 and has let us know it.  Richard is a really great kid.  He is definitely going through a "three year old thing" right now, but we get to see all the behind the scene sweetness.  He is a funny boy, and not in a indirect way, this kid does impressions.  It is so hilarious, he has our neighbor's boy's voice down to an art.  He talks all the time and has started to make up stories.  This morning it was about a ghost flying around and then hiding under the sheets with some indiscernible words thrown in and finally, "That Great Story" over and over.  He is a good little brother meaning if Adam wants what he has he will give it to him.  He LOVES to play with big kids and knocks little kids over.  (we are working on that last part)  He dances, he sings, he eats pasta.  And in my unbiased opinion he is Beautiful.  LOVE to you Richie boy

Boys and Bikes

This is the first year that the boys really enjoy riding their bikes.  They can do it for hours and not get tired of it.  One of the simple pleasures of childhood.

TIME

Why is it I never to anything really constructive when I have real down time. Take this moment for an example, Dan took Adam shopping for my Mother's day gift and Richie is upstairs asleep and what have I done for the past hour and a half? Well it started with the overwhelming desire to watch a television show that didn't have a Y7 rating, so after an hour of going back in forth between "The father of the bride II" (and I won't mention how many times I have seen this show) and some random TLC redo your house show, I started to feel that, "are you kidding me? This is really what you want to do right now?" feeling. So now I have made me way down to the studio to waste some more of MY time. So when the kids are around and I have a house to clean and dinner to cook I FEEL like doing those projects I have around that require some amount of thought and skill, but when I actually have the time it really is the last thing I want to do. So is it immaturity? Laziness? I don't know. And don't ask me what I did after I post this monologue, my money is on the Indiana Jones marathon... oh, no I just heard Dan pull up so back to the life I like, my busy one...
