Halloween

Halloween is usually a big event around our house, but this year we broke tradition and didn't host a Halloween party or go all out on decorating the house. We had a flood a few months ago and we have finally gotten around to ripping up the old floor. The house is sort of in disarray right now and with four kids running around we just weren't in as much of a the Halloween spirit as usual. We did have a fun time at our ward trunk-or-treat and on our "hayride" in Grandma and Grandpa Owen's neighborhood.

Sam is growing up, a little too fast. On the left is a picture taken our last night in Utah, and on the right is a picture taken today. He's changing so fast, we have really enjoyed this toddler stage, he is so sweet and cute.

Visit From Nanny and Papaw Mitchell and Truman's Blessing

My sweet Nanny and Papaw Mitchell and Dad stopped by to visit on their way back from a trip to New England. We had a great time visiting with them and we're hoping we can travel to Florida sometime this next year to visit them at their home.

Fun with Grandpa Mitchell


Grandpa Sharp and Grandma and Grandpa West came into town for Truman's blessing. We had a fun time seeing some of the sites in Chattanooga. We took a nice walk across the Tennessee River Walking Bridge and we were able to tour two life-size replicas of the Nina and the Pinta that were docked on the side of the river downtown. We visited the Joseph Standing memorial and had a great time at the park.
